About Us
Since 2006, Yuvsatta (youth for peace) has been dedicated to promoting a culture of peace and nonviolence through various initiatives. One of the remarkable endeavors of Yuvsatta is the annual Global Youth Peace Fest (GYPF), formerly known as IYPF, providing a platform for young minds to engage in discussions, share ideas, and develop strategies on global issues.
Global Youth Peace Forum
Recognizing that young people are the architects of the new world order, Yuvsatta launched the Global Youth Peace Forum (GYPF) to promote a culture of peace, nonviolence, and volunteering globally. Join us in empowering the youth to understand the problems of their world and focus their energy on creating sustainable solutions.
Campaign for Peace-Cities
Over the last fifteen years, Yuvsatta has successfully formed over 100 Peace Clubs in Schools and Colleges of the tricity—Chandigarh, Panchkula, and SAS Nagar (Mohali). These Peace Clubs have become instrumental in promoting a culture of nonviolence among thousands of young minds. Through active participation and vibrant initiatives, educational institutions are contributing to strengthening the culture of peace and volunteering.
1 INDIA Campaign
The '1 INDIA Campaign' emphasizes religious and ethnic harmony, national unity, and efficient governance. Yuvsatta volunteers are motivating educational institutions to observe one day of the month as 1 India day, involving young students in activities fostering the spirit of brotherhood, friendship, and love.
Power of 1 Rupee
Inspired by campaigns worldwide, Yuvsatta has initiated the 'Power of 1 Rupee' campaign in collaboration with local schools. Encouraging students to contribute small amounts of money regularly, this campaign aims to support programs empowering the marginalized, creating awareness of poverty, and fostering a habit of caring and helping others.
Girls India Project
Under the 'Girls India Project,' Yuvsatta has initiated the formation of 55 Girls Parliaments in major schools and colleges of Chandigarh. In collaboration with teachers, this initiative aims to inspire, motivate, and actively engage over 100,000 girl students, promoting their rights and dignity.

Greentire: Promoting cycling culture in the city through Inter-School Bicycle Games, Bicycle tours, and events.
Rakshak: Actively involved in HIV/AIDS intervention programs, promoting a healthy lifestyle among marginalized female sex workers.
Volunteer Chandigarh: Fostering the spirit of volunteerism in youth to improve the community and bring about positive change.
Project Heritage Trees: Preserving, managing, and enhancing a vital collection of trees in Chandigarh with historical, scientific, aesthetic, and environmental value.
Project I Care: Empowering marginalized children in slum settlements through education, vocational training, and holistic development.
